What must a Canadian employer do to bring a Live-in-caregiver to Canada?

l        The Employer must first select a specific foreign live-in caregiver from the selection offered below

l        The Employer will then contact our representative who will meet with you in the convenience of your own home and answer any additional questions regarding the selected live-in-caregiver

l        We must satisfy Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC) that there are no Canadian citizens or permanent residents who are competent and willing to provide the required live-in-caregiver services. This is accomplished by placing an advertisement in the local newspaper offer employment to a Canadian live-in-caregiver

l         If there is no response from a Canadian caregiver, we will submit an Application for a Foreign Live-in-caregiver to HRDC so that the offer of employment can be assessed.
